Whirlwind
Got back last night from Snowshoe, WV ... here's how things went down for me:
--I love snowskiing. I have no clue how to stop or slow down so I used my rear as a brake and it hurts!
--Our students are great! I loved hanging out with them. They are awesome and I pray they all seize God's plan and promises for their lives.
--I had a great time hearing Michael speak and hanging out with him at Starbucks (I drank more coffee this week than my whole life combined!) His church is rocking and facing growing challenges and key decisions at a very early age (4-5 months). I am pumped and excited for him and all the people at Oak Leaf Church!
Today, I'm speaking down at First Baptist Cartersville. My aunt & uncle attend church there. This church has really been through a lot in the past year so I am happy to help them out on a Sunday when Aaron is speaking back at the home front.
Monday & Tuesday I'll be at the Churchplanters.com conference in Cummins, GA. Excited about it! I haven't been to a conference in a long time so I'm pumped to learn, grow, and meet some other great people!
Wednesday is EYE SURGERGY day (LASIK) ... please pray for me, for a successful surgery (I want to be 20/20 again!!!) and for a quick recovery.
We continue our OFF ROAD series this week about going out of our way for people who don't know Christ or have a church family. Be praying about WHO you know and WHERE you go ... that God will give you opportunities to share your story and represent Him to others! This is WHY WE ARE HERE!!!
