Sunday Morning Insight

Sunday I did something a little different. Instead of staying down front (at the 'altar' area) after worship, I went out to the main entrance/exit to shake hands and greet people that I usually don't get to see.

The scary and awesome thing was I only knew about 1 out of 7 people leaving our church!!
That's scary because:
--we have a lot of people I don't 'know' about coming to our church ... are they getting connected? have we followed up with them? what next step do they need to take spiritually?

That's awesome because:
--we are having a lot of non-members coming to our church during the summer when a lot of our members take off on vacation, the lake, camps, etc.

I think church has to be the coolest thing in the world!!
